શ્રીભગવાનુવાચ
જ્ઞાનં પરમગુહ્યં મે યદ્વિજ્ઞાનસમન્વિતમ્
સરહસ્યં તદઙ્ગં ચ ગૃહાણ ગદિતં મયા ૧
યાવાનહં યથાભાવો યદ્રૂપગુણકર્મકઃ
તથૈવ તત્ત્વવિજ્ઞાનમસ્તુ તે મદનુગ્રહાત્ ૨
અહમેવાસમેવાગ્રે નાન્યદ્યત્સદસત્પરમ્
પશ્ચાદહં યદેતચ્ચ યોઽવશિષ્યેત સોઽસ્મ્યહમ્ ૩
ઋતેઽર્થં યત્પ્રતીયેત ન પ્રતીયેત ચાત્મનિ
તદ્વિદ્યાદાત્મનો માયાં યથાઽઽભાસો યથા તમઃ ૪
યથા મહાન્તિ ભૂતાનિ ભૂતેષૂચ્ચાવચેષ્વનુ
પ્રવિષ્ટાન્યપ્રવિષ્ટાનિ તથા તેષુ ન તેષ્વહમ્ ૫
એતાવદેવ જિજ્ઞાસ્યં તત્ત્વજિજ્ઞાસુનાઽઽત્મનઃ
અન્વયવ્યતિરેકાભ્યાં યત્સ્યાત્સર્વત્ર સર્વદા ૬
એતન્મતં સમાતિષ્ઠ પરમેણ સમાધિના
ભવાન્કલ્પવિકલ્પેષુ ન વિમુહ્યતિ કર્હિચિત્ ૭
ઇતિ શ્રીમદ્ભાગવતે મહાપુરાણેઽષ્ટાદશસાહસ્ર્યાં
સંહિતાયાં વૈયસિક્યાં દ્વિતીયસ્કન્ધે ભગવદ્બ્રહ્મસંવાદે
