ಓಂ ನಮೋ ಭಗವತೇ ಆದಿತ್ಯಾಯಾಖಿಲಜಗತಾಂ ಆತ್ಮಸ್ವರೂಪೇಣ ಕಾಲಸ್ವರೂಪೇಣ
ಚತುರ್ವಿಧಭೂತ-ನಿಕಾಯಾನಾಂ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾದಿಸ್ತಮ್ಭ-ಪರ್ಯನ್ತಾನಾಂ
ಅನ್ತರ್ಹೃದಯೇಷು ಬಹಿರಪಿ ಚಾಕಾಶ ಇವ ಉಪಾಧಿನಾಽವ್ಯವಧೀಯಮಾನೋ
ಭವಾನೇಕ ಏವ ಕ್ಷಣಲವ-ನಿಮೇಷಾವಯವೋಪಚಿತ-ಸಂವತ್ಸರಗಣೇನ
ಅಪಾ-ಮಾದಾನ-ವಿಸರ್ಗಾಭ್ಯಾಂ ಇಮಾಂ ಲೋಕಯಾತ್ರಾಂ ಅನುವಹತಿ ॥ ೧

ಯದುಹ ವಾವ ವಿಬುಧರ್ಷಭ ಸವಿತರದಸ್ತಪತ್ಯನುಸವನಂ ಅಹರಹಃ
ಆಮ್ನಾಯವಿಧಿನಾ ಉಪತಿಷ್ಠಮಾನಾನಾಂ ಅಖಿಲ-ದುರಿತ-ವೃಜಿನಬೀಜಾವಭರ್ಜನ
ಭಗವತಃ ಸಮಭಿಧೀಮಹಿ ತಪನಮಣ್ಡಲಮ್ ॥ ೨

ಯ ಇಹ ವಾವ ಸ್ಥಿರಚರನಿಕರಾಣಾಂ ನಿಜನಿಕೇತನಾನಾಂ ಮನ-ಇನ್ದ್ರಿಯಾಸುಗಣಾನ್
ಅನಾತ್ಮನಃ ಸ್ವಯಮಾತ್ಮಾ ಅನ್ತರ್ಯಾಮೀ ಪ್ರಚೋದಯತಿ ॥ ೩

ಯ ಏವೇಮಂ ಲೋಕಂ ಅತಿಕರಾಲ-ವದನಾನ್ಧಕಾರ-ಸಂಜ್ಞಾ-ಜಗರಗ್ರಹ-ಗಿಲಿತಂ
ಮೃತಕಮಿವ ವಿಚೇತನಂ ಅವಲೋಕ್ಯ ಅನುಕಮ್ಪಯಾ ಪರಮಕಾರುಣಿಕಃ ಈಕ್ಷಯೈವ
ಉತ್ಥಾಪ್ಯ ಅಹರಹರನುಸವನಂ ಶ್ರೇಯಸಿ ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮಾಖ್ಯಾತ್ಮಾವಸ್ಥಾನೇ
ಪ್ರವರ್ತಯತಿ ಅವನಿಪತಿರಿವ ಅಸಾಧೂನಾಂ ಭಯಮುದೀರಯನ್ನಟತಿ ॥ ೪

ಪರಿತ ಆಶಾಪಾಲೈಃ ತತ್ರ ತತ್ರ ಕಮಲಕೋಶಾಞ್ಜಲಿಭಿಃ ಉಪಹೃತಾರ್ಹಣಃ ॥ ೫

ಅಥಹ ಭಗವನ್ ತವ ಚರಣನಲಿನಯುಗಲಂ ತ್ರಿಭುವನಗುರುಭಿರ್ವನ್ದಿತಂ
ಅಹಂ ಅಯಾತಯಾಮಯಜುಃಕಾಮಃ ಉಪಸರಾಮೀತಿ ॥ ೬

ಏವಂ ಸ್ತುತಃ ಸ ಭಗವಾನ್ ವಾಜಿರೂಪಧರೋ ಹರಿಃ ।
ಯಜೂಂಷ್ಯಯಾತಯಾಮಾನಿ ಮುನಯೇಽದಾತ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದಿತಃ ॥ ೭

॥ ಇತಿ ಶ್ರೀಮದ್ಭಾಗವತೇ ದ್ವಾದಶಸ್ಕನ್ಧೇ ಶ್ರೀಯಾಜ್ಞವಲ್ಕ್ಯಕೃತಂ

ಶ್ರೀಸೂರ್ಯಸ್ತೋತ್ರಂ ಸಮ್ಪೂರ್ಣಮ್ ॥


Note: This Stuti appears in the 12th Skandham (6th Adhyaya)
of Shreemad BhAgavatham. Maharishi Yagnavalkya praised Shree Surya
Bhagavan through this Stuti, to earn his grace and for obtaining the
till-then-unknown Shukla Yajurveda Mantras or AyAta-YAmam, as it is
referred to in Shastras. This Stuti eloquently describes how Surya
Bhagavan single-handedly protects this entire Cosmos by his never-ending
Loka Yatra and the Vedic religion and Bhagavan's unfailing grace to those
who steadfastly follow the Dharma, as laid down in the Vedas/Shastras.
