For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the
Verities and Realities of your Existence;
The Bliss of Growth,
The Glory of Action,
The Splendor of Beauty;
For Yesterday is but a Dream,
And Tomorrow is only a Vision;
But Today well lived makes every
Yesterday a Dream of Happiness, and every
Tomorrow a Vision of Hope.
Look well therefore to this Day!
Such is the Salutation of the Dawn.

ଉଦ୍ବୋଧନମୁଷାଦେଵ୍ଯାଃ ଶୃଣ୍ଵିଦଂ ପଶ୍ଯ ଵାସରମ୍ ।
ଜୀଵୋଽଯଂ ଜୀଵ ଏଵାସ୍ଯ ଜୀଵସ୍ଯାସଂଶଯଂ ଯତଃ ॥ ୧॥

ହ୍ରସ୍ଵଜୀଵିତମାର୍ଗେଽସ୍ମିନ୍ନସ୍ଯ ତିଷ୍ଠତ୍ଯଚଞ୍ଚଲମ୍ ।
ଅସ୍ତିତ୍ଵସ୍ଯ ସମସ୍ତଂ ତେ ସତ୍ଯଂ ଯାଥାର୍ଥ୍ଯମେଵ ଚ ॥ ୨॥

ଵୃଦ୍ଧେରନୁଗ୍ରହୋ ଦିଵ୍ଯଃ ସୁମହତ୍ତ୍ଵଂ ଚ କର୍ମଣଃ ।
ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯସ୍ଯୋଜ୍ଜ୍ଵଲତ୍ଵଂ ଚ ସର୍ଵମସ୍ତ୍ଯତ୍ର ଶାଶ୍ଵତମ୍ ॥ ୩॥

ଯତୋ ହି ସ୍ଵପ୍ନମାତ୍ରଂ ହ୍ଯଃ ଶ୍ଵୋଽପି ହା ଚିତ୍ତକଲ୍ପିତମ୍ ।
ସୁଜୀଵିତଂ ଚେତ୍ କିନ୍ତ୍ଵଦ୍ଯ ସୁଷ୍ଠୁ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନଂ କରୋତି ତତ୍ ॥ ୪॥
