ସୂତ ଉଵାଚ ।
ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରଂ ତତ୍ସଂ ପ୍ରଵକ୍ଷ୍ଯାମି ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡେଯନ ଭାଷିତମ୍ । ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରମ୍ ସର୍ଵଂ
ଦାମୋଦରଂ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୧॥
ଶଙ୍ଖଚକ୍ରଧରଂ ଦେଵଂ ଵ୍ଯକ୍ତରୂପିଣମଵ୍ଯଯମ୍ ।
ଅଧୋଅକ୍ଷଜଂ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୨॥
ଵରାହଂ ଵାମନଂ ଵିଷ୍ଣୁଂ ନାରସିଂହଂ ଜନାର୍ଦନମ୍ ।
ମାଧଵଞ୍ଚ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୩॥
ପୁରୁଷଂ ପୁଷ୍କରକ୍ଷେତ୍ରବୀଜଂ ପୁଣ୍ଯଂ ଜଗତ୍ପତିମ୍ ।
ଲୋକନାଥଂ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୪॥
ସହସ୍ରଶିରସଂ ଦେଵଂ ଵ୍ଯକ୍ତାଵ୍ଯକ୍ତଂ ସନାତନମ୍ ।
ମହାଯୋଗଂ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୫॥
ଭୂତାତ୍ମାନଂ ମହାତ୍ମାନଂ ଯଜ୍ଞଯୋନିମଯୋନିଜମ୍ ।
ଵିଶ୍ଵରୂପଂ ପ୍ରପନ୍ନୋଽସ୍ମି କିନ୍ନୋ ମୂତ୍ଯୁଃ କରିଷ୍ଯତି ॥ ୬॥
ଇତ୍ଯୁଦୀରିତମାକର୍ଣ୍ଯ ସ୍ତୋତ୍ରଂ ତସ୍ଯ ମହାତ୍ମନଃ । ସ୍ତଵଂ ତସ୍ଯ
ଅପଯାତସ୍ତତୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁର୍ଵିଷ୍ଣୁଦୂତୈଃ ପ୍ରପୀଡିତଃ ॥ ୭॥
ଇତି ତେନ ଜିତୋ ମୃତ୍ଯୁର୍ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡେଯେନ ଧୀମତା ।
ପ୍ରସନ୍ନେ ପୁଣ୍ଡରୀକାକ୍ଷେ ନୃସିଂହେ ନାସ୍ତି ଦୁର୍ଲଭମ୍ ॥ ୮॥
ମୃତ୍ଯ୍ଵଷ୍ଟକମିଦଂ ପୁଣ୍ଯଂ ମୃତ୍ଯୁପ୍ରଶମନଂ ଶୁଭମ୍ ।
ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡେଯହିତାର୍ଥାଯ ସ୍ଵଯଂ ଵିଷ୍ଣୁରୁଵାଚ ହ ॥ ୯॥
ଇଦଂ ଯଃ ପଠତେ ଭକ୍ତ୍ଯା ତ୍ରିକାଲଂ ନିଯତଂ ଶୁଚିଃ ।
ନାକାଲେ ତସ୍ଯ ମୃତ୍ଯୁଃ ସ୍ଯାନ୍ନରସ୍ଯାଚ୍ଯୁତଚେତସଃ ॥ ୧୦॥
ହୃତ୍ପଦ୍ମମଧ୍ଯେ ପୁରୁଷଂ ପୁରାଣଂ
ନାରାଯଣଂ ଶାଶ୍ଵତମପ୍ରମେଯମ୍ ।
