श्रीमहागणपति नवार्ण वेदपादस्तवः
{॥ श्रीमहागणपति नवार्ण वेदपादस्तवः ॥}
This hymn or stotra has a peculiar structure. Each of the verses has a
letter from the Mahaganapati mantram (viz) श्रीमहागणपतये नमः ।
Shrimahaganapataye namaha (namana) in the beginning. In addition they
also have a line from the Vedas in the second half of the second line. For
example, in the case of the first verse the portion reading shriya.n vAsaya
me kule | श्रियं वासय मे कुले । is a sentence from the Shrisuktam
from the Vedas.
श्रीकण्ठतनय श्रीश श्रीकर श्रीदलार्चित ।
श्रीविनायक सर्वेश श्रियं वासय मे कुले ॥ १॥
गजानन गणाधीश द्विजराज-विभूषित ।
भजे त्वां सच्चिदानन्द ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणास्पते ॥ २॥
णषाष्ठ-वाच्य-नाशाय रोगाट-विकुठारिणे ।
घृणा-पालित-लोकाय वनानां पतये नमः ॥ ३॥
धियं प्रयच्छते तुभ्यमीप्सितार्थ-प्रदायिने ।
दीप्त-भूषण-भूषाय दिशां च पतये नमः ॥ ४॥
पञ्च-ब्रह्म-स्वरूपाय पञ्च-पातक-हारिणे ।
पञ्च-तत्त्वात्मने तुभ्यं पशूनां पतये नमः ॥ ५॥
तटित्कोटि-प्रतीकाश-तनवे विश्व-साक्षिणे ।
तपस्वि-ध्यायिने तुभ्यं सेनानिभ्यश्च वो नमः ॥ ६॥
ये भजन्त्यक्षरं त्वां ते प्राप्नुवन्त्यक्षरात्मताम्।
नैकरूपाय महते मुष्णतां पतये नमः ॥ ७॥
नगजा-वर-पुत्राय सुर-राजार्चिताय च ।
सुगुणाय नमस्तुभ्यं सुमृडीकाय मीढुषे ॥ ८॥
महा-पातक-सङ्घात-तम-हारण-भयापह ।
त्वदीय-कृपया देव सर्वानव यजामहे ॥ ९॥
नवार्ण-रत्न-निगम-पाद-संपुटितां स्तुतिम् ।
भक्त्या पठन्ति ये तेषां तुष्टो भव गणाधिप ॥ १०॥
